One of the big reasons that we exist as a church is to help people investigate what Jesus is all about for themselves. There are a number of ways to explore the Christian faith. The best place for you to start will depend a little on your personality. Find below a few suggestions. A frequent experience for a person initially looking into Christianity is that as some questions are answered, new questions pop up. At some point, most people find it helpful to meet up with a Christian in some way to chat these things through.
Meet with one other person to look at the Bible together. A relaxed and informal way to consider Jesus for yourself with lots of time for questions and discussion.
Meet with half a dozen other people, many of whom are in a similar position to yourself, to look at the Bible together, watch a short video and chew over the questions you have.
Come along to a church service on a Sunday morning. Our time will always help us focus on some part of the good news about Jesus Christ.
Look at some good material on the web (Sadly, there is some dubious stuff out there. Google doesn’t always point you in a helpful direction)!
Read a book that is written specifically for people looking into the Christian faith.
